The nicest place near the Glacier to have a good Mexican food.!! The service was very quick and the servers very friendly. They helped us to know about the small meals just so that we don't end up wasting the food and since I am a vegetarian, they also suggested me to get black beans instead of the refried beans (which I was ordering) as it contained chicken sauce!! If got a chance, I would definitely luv to visit this place again.

((((***WARNING***))))----WORST Mexican food in NW Montana!!! These people tie with casa de Mexico for WORST Mexican food in NW Montana!! (As they are basically the same place) I cant understand people giving these people 4 or 5 stars??? The food is terrible... Yuk... I had a terrible Chicken enchilada (The chicken tasted old) with cold rice, and watery beans... CHECK PLEASE!!! I couldn't get half way through it... Save yourself... Save your toilet... Try: El Rancho in Kalispell Taco Mexico in Bigfork

First off, this place is more like a 3.5 stars. In spite of the strange side entrance for the casino - which we accidentally came through, the restaurant is spacious and well-suited to large groups. Service was friendly, fast and well-informed. We ordered the shrimp fajitas and the meal was so large that one meal was enough food to feed the two of us. Enjoyed the free homemade tortilla chips with salsa before the meal arrived and the slightly cheesy Mexican music added a nice kitsch touch. This is a decent option for Mexican this far north and will definitely eat here again.

I was born and raised 50 miles from the Mexico border...so I know Mexican food!! This chain is the best you'll get in Montana! One thing bothers me...why cheat on your tacos?? Everything on the menu shines except your tacos in preformed fake shells that fall apart by the time they reach the table! Fry fresh taco shells and you'd get an A+!! PLEASE MAKE THIS ONE SMALL CHANGE!!

Decent for the area, staff is friendly. Queso cheese dip is just microwaved velveeta so save yourself $5 and pass. Also it's $1.50 for chip refills after your first complimentary one.

Not a lot of options here in the Columbia Falls so if you're craving Mexican this may satisfy it. The portions are good size and the service has always been good. Prices are on the higher side but considering the lack of other options here it may be the best Mexican bang for your buck.

I thought the veggie burrito was awesome (also very fairly priced). It was extremely large and fed me three times!

We came to town to snowmobile. Decided on this place and have not experienced any dinner this bad in a long time. My dish was sweet instead of as described on the menu which was mild, med or hot. Two of the 6 got sick to their stomachs and really believe it was the Mexican food. Service was super poor she asked how are meals were we told her mine was not good. She just walked away. Then offered us desert. We ordered deep fried ice cream she brought us something totally different. Then said since we didn't like our $14 dinner she would give us a free (not even the one we ordered) desert which cost $4.95. We also ordered 2 $33 pitchers of margaritas which were so weak there couldn't have been much alcohol in them. Overall one of the worst meals! I wouldn't recommend this unless your super desperate. There are other resturant in Columbia Falls that are the same price point and way better! Plus, your friends might not get sick!

My girlfriend and I were visiting from DC and staying nearby while hiking in Glacier. We needed some dinner and stumbled upon this place and loved it! We sat at the bar, had a couple of beers and then ordered Steak Flautas and the Carne Asada burrito per the lovely bartenders suggestion. We enjoyed ourselves and the food. If you're in the area-check it out! Don't let the decor or country music fool you, they know what they're doing. Would come again in a heartbeat.

Food is good and friendly service. The amount of food versus the price is great value. I never leave this restaurant hungry.

We loved both the food and the service at this place. It's basic Mexican food; not fancy but good and lots of it so we didn't leave hungry. All of the food arrived at the table plenty hot - the fajitas were still sizzling and the corn tortillas steaming. The carne asada had a different seasoning than I've had before but it was really good as were the refried beans. The only quibble I had was with the guacamole, which did not look or taste as fresh as I would have liked. The service was very friendly and efficient and we got several suggestions for other places to eat and visit during our stay. We will definitely return to eat here again.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
